FESTIVALS AND CONCERTS
Free Concerts in the Patio de la Ciutat de les Arts, ‘A Concert Lake’: May 7 to October 1
In recent years, the Berklee music school and the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciènces have collaborated to promote the dissemination of high-quality music free of charge. In this way, this initiative is not only an opportunity for Valencians to enjoy safe cultural events. It is also a way to support young students and artists in Valencia.
Arts Festival of Valencia: 4 and 5 June
Likewise, in the heart of Valencia, the Arts Festival unites music with design, illustration, fashion and gastronomy. It has a poster of international and national artists, 3 stages and more than 24 hours of music. The festival has become a success for three consecutive years. Inside you will find Foodies Merkat, full of food trucks with a delicious gastronomic offer and Les Arts Market with incredible designers and emerging brands, apart from many more activities.
Big Sound Festival: July 8, 9 and 10
On the other hand, Big Sound Festival is the largest Urban Music Festival in Spain. In this space, music and other artistic disciplines such as culture, art and gastronomy will merge to give life to an environment where you will enjoy the best national and international artists.
Concerts

ART AND CULTURE
Sorolla. Feminine Plural: 03/02/2021 to 30/05/2021
This exhibition co-produced with the Sorolla Museum in Madrid, offers more than fifty works. These show the presence of women, both in the painter’s work and in society at the end of the 19th century.
Exposicions `Rondalla de fang’ & `El Somrieru de las Falles’: 10/03/2021 a 17/10/2021
This year the cultural center Centre del Carme invites us to celebrate the faults in a more special way. The urban artist Dulk and the fabled artists Ceballos&Sanabria have decided to give a 180º turn to one of the most anticipated festivities in Valencia. ‘ Rondalla de fang’ & ‘El Somrieru de las Falles’ are two exhibitions that symbolically link environmental sustainability with the municipal fault through.
Valencia Capital of Design: year 2022
Subsequently, from January to December 2022, each month will feature a global theme. From four types of events: exhibition, congresses, workshops and talks. The main themes will be: design in the face of climate change, Mediterranean design, the commitment of design to gender equality, the history of design, the story from design, industrial development and design and nature, among others.
Goya Awards 2022
Finally, Valencia will host the celebration of the 36th edition of the Goya Awards as the closing of the year of Berlanga.
